Experienced in contractual agreements, entertainment projects & ventures. Grant writing success in the municipal arena, city, county, state and federal grants received for non-profit foundation projects. Responsible for the production & distribution of hundreds of digital recording distributed on iTunes, Amazon, Emusic, Rapsody, Spotify, Pandora and, many other digital media services.

Bob Crosby’s President/CEO – The Vocal Group Hall of Fame Foundation a 501(c)3 Non-profit foundation, owned operated and governed by the foundations Inducted artist since Crosby took over full operations of the foundation February 2002. At this time the foundation added Tony Butala to the non-profit board when the Vocal Group Museum Company was dissolved. The Vocal Group Hall ofFame Foundation made up of a foundation board, artist advisory board, truth in music committee, induction & production committees with several departments giving meaningful input provided by appointed inductees and industry professionals that organize inductions, the museum, special projects, and all foundation business. www.VocalGroup.org

The Vocal Group Hall of Fame Museum Company Inc. began operations as a for-profit museum company operating a  in Sharon PA. in 1998.
The Vocal Group Hall of Fame Muesum Company Inc.  was founded by Tony Butala of The Lettermen and funded by local Sharon, PA. businessman James E. Winner.

The Foundation acquired one of America’s earliest of Historic  Warner Brother Theatres built in 1922.  Crosby arranged for the purchase of The Columbia Theatre in June of 2002. Additional buildings have been purchased for the museum, restaurant, malt shop, banquette center, piano bar and the museum all of which is under renovation.

The Vocal Group Hall of Fame Foundation soon sponsored the “Truth In Music Bill “The Truth In Music Committee of was formed in 2003 at Inductions. Inductees, lead by Mary Wilson of The Supremes, who testified of the abuse they experienced from imposter groups stealing the artist identities and fooling the public to believe the imposter groups are legendary artists – when they are not. The Truth In Music Committee Chairmen – Jon (BOWZER) Bauman from Sha Na Na has since lead the Committee and has successfully passed the Truth In Musical Advertising Act in 34 states and a federal bill to be sponsored. 2010.

Vietnam Veterans Benefit Concert & HBO Cablecast

Benefit production design consultant. “WELCOME HOME” 10 years after – Participated in the start of the project with Mike Slarve. Formed Non-Profit 501c3. The HBO program raised $2,000,000 in call in donations and started the trend for other show like Comedy Relief. Fundraising for the benefit of veterans organizations. Assisted in talent booking, contracts and production budgets for concert producers Avalon Attractions and TV Producer Ken Erlick. Events held at Great Western Forum and RFK Stadium. 18 years in the Christmas tree business. Purchased harvest rights from growers in the Pacific Northwest. Washington and Oregon grown trees hand picked per farm, cut, helicopter to roadside, bailed, loaded on trucks shipped to Oregon and Los Angeles warehouse for national shipping. Christmas trees lots, 22 all around the Hollywood Hills, Sunset Blvd. Hollywood & Ventura Blvd. Studio City, Encino.

Main lot centered at the Hollywood Bowl parking lot. Sold several hundred Christmas trees 10ft. to 20ft. to banks, hotels and studios. Sample clients – Christmas trees sold to: 125) Bank of America, 60) California Federal branch offices and studios including 100 prestige industry clients such as Screen Actors Guild, Directors Guild, A&M Records, Warner Bros. David Geffen, Eddie Van Halen, George Clooney, Brian Setzer, Joan Van Ark, Tony Danza, Dionne Warwick, Wolfgang Puck . Produced the Mark & Brian (Popular syndicated radio personalities) worlds largest one-day tree lot for 10 years, KLOS charity event, celebrities would come to tree lot to help promote one day tree lot.

Several years of delivering Christmas trees in traffic in LA led to developing a new method of delivery.
4ft to 7ft Christmas trees were individually shipped via UPS in cardboard candy cane printed shipping cylinders complete with a water bowl and tree stand. Distributed from two 25,000 square foot warehouses in Tangent Oregon and Van Nuys California. Marketed through 88 radio stations across the country participating in a charity fundraiser that earned 15% of the gross sale of each tree. The station would pick a charity of choice and would promote an 800# issued to them. The stations contributed public service announcement time to promoting the 800#s to the listeners, “Buy a tree, send one to Mom in Florida, and help the charity”. Acquired the equivalent of $500,000 national radio ad campaign, shipped 50 big rig semi’s, 30,000 Christmas trees, grossed $1.8M first year. Novelty lasted two years. Sold all equipment, lot supplies and trucks to my crew and employees. Retired from the tree business 10 years ago 1998.

Film Broker

Started in the entertainment business buying raw stock undeveloped Motion Picture Film. Purchased unused film from major studio producers. Resold the film to independent film makers and low budget producers / directors.

Example: The movie “Sun Shine Boys” Walter Mathau & George Burns. Artist used few takes leaving ½ the film for purchase and resale to Roger Korman for low budget feature requiring only ½ the film issued by the major studio. Started production career, Associate Producer 5 low budget features.


North East Employment


Home of the Scrappers – Cleveland Indians minor league baseball

Employed by The Cafaro Company as Producer for Cafaro Stadium Company. Employed approximately 2 years. Landlord representative of Cafaro Field for two Scrapper baseball seasons and produced all the concerts at Cafaro Field to date other then “Pops at the Ballpark”.

Developed the venue produced the concert series supervising all aspects of the production including pre-production, artist booking, scheduling, contracting of vendors, suppliers, show contractors, promotion & advertising, ticketing, merchandise and line-production. Administrated artist and sports contracts, all day leases, promoters, and tour sponsors. Researched and explored many other types of amusement attractions that might complement the Eastwood Mall Complex.

Negotiated, processed, implemented and maintained contracts between the landlord and its tenants. Reporting on tenants status, business partnering, sponsorships, conflicts between sponsors & vendor exclusives, concession contracts, facility parking, and maintenance fund operation. Maintained relations between landlord & tenants, Palisades Baseball/Scrappers, YSU Baseball team, several high school and specialty baseball teams who have rented the stadium for baseball games and other events. The day to day Scrapper management & stadium operations of baseball was provided by Palisades Baseball.

Featuring Kenny Rogers, The Kinleys and local artist Laurie James. The first major concert held at Cafaro Field, which generated (6) times the largest gross of Scrapper baseball games and the largest attendance at the stadium to date 8,379. Produced by Bob Crosby for the Cafaro Stadium Co.

“Saturday Night Disco”

Kool & the Gang, Village People, & Disco Explosion. Dance floors, disco lights and bubble machines throughout the stadium. Included the production of a multi-camera, wide screen video production recorded for broadcast and home video distribution. Produced by Bob Crosby for the Cafaro Stadium Co. 4,637 attendance

98 Degrees Concert

98 Degrees, PYT, & Bonnia. Included the production of wide screen video professionally recorded for TV broadcast and home video product. Produced by Bob Crosby for the Cafaro Stadium Company. 6,621 attendance.

Country Night

(Jo Dee Messina, Dwight Yoakam, & Gary Allan) Provided all booking, advance, pre-production, talent and production riders & contractors, stage, lights, & sound design for the final 2001 concert at Cafaro Field. Not on site produced by The Cafaro Company. Gary Allan performed, Jo Dee & Dwight Yoakam were rained out. The work accomplished during my employment also consisted of designing a variety of seating charts, and a reserved seat ticket system with portable in-field seats. Produced the creative and production of all print, radio, and TV commercial advertising campaigns. Represented the productions of the concerts to the press, newspaper, radio & TV news and morning shows. Functioned as Executive in Charge of Production, implemented all production systems and trained all of the Cafaro Company and Eastwood Mall employees that now service the rental of the stadium to out-side promoters.

The most significant contribution was the promotional GOOD WILL earned in the community. The GOOD PUBLIC RELATIONS and GREAT PRESS, obtained for the mall, the team & the stadium. The concert series assisted the developer by co-promoting a baseball team, stadium and shopping mall. Furthermore, the concert series may have attracted people from the community that may not have attended a game or shopped at Eastwood Mall.

The stadium is now registered with all entertainment industry tour & search engines, major talent agencies and artist tour routing list & schedules. All contractors are now trained and in place. All venue logistics and systems worked out and in place. The stadium now has a proven track record of producing successful concerts and is ready to be leased to promoters.

Up With People

Talent made up of 125 students from 60 country’s from around the world performing an uplifting Broadway type show. Intended as a rehearsal show to work out all logistics and function as a practice run for the first concert series at Cafaro Field. 2,300 attendance. Landlord Sponsored Event.
